For the past week I have been gradually modelling more elements and props within my scene. I have decided to go for the main downstairs Hallway and hopefully adjacent room. (The outside can be a nice little personal project for one day in the future)

By this point I've got a baseline for all the parts I will be using (Mostly walls, doorways, staircase elements and decorative trim) One element that did cause me some grief was the creation of a modular stair piece that would fit where I wanted and be useable elsewhere in the house (Should this be a complete house creation) In addition based upon the short comings of my last projects modular kit this time I am working closely alongside the grid (matched to Unreal's) with every element fitting on it and thus together far more efficiently and increase the mileage out of each mesh. Which in turn has really increased the speed of putting together a blockout.

I have also gotten my Repo/ Version Control setup and my scene into Unreal. So have done a really basic lighting setup and allowed me to check the scale of my pieces, for example my main door actually feels far too small compared to the other doorways which will be revised.
